Dr. Lichtenstein is one of very few gynecologists in the area, who is certified by the state as a CHDP provider. The Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) is a preventive program that delivers periodic health assessments and services to children and youth in California. CHDP provides care coordination to assist families with medical appointment scheduling and access to diagnostic and treatment services.

Under CDHP or any other insurance, we can provide the following services to girls aged 11 and up:

  • Periodic exams
  • School physicals
  • Sports physicals
  • Immunizations, including the Gardasil shot
  • Birth control
  • Irregular or painful periods
  • Treatment for Minor illnesses
